We are running James version 2.2 on a Windows 2003 Server. We are a
software solution provider and we use James to process our email function
within our Apache application, not for delivery of our own internal email.
The application supports email functionality between users of our
application.

We will be upgrading to James 2.3.1 shortly, but in the meantime, we are
having a problem with frequent backlog of emails in my spool folder due
to spam. A large number of emails are attempting to be delivered to a
valid domain address. Our application would never deliver directly to the
domain in question, so I would like to remove these messages from even
making it to the spool.

In this section of the config.xml, can I have the RecipientIs changed to
an entire domain rather than a specific email address. So could the line
be something like -
<mailet match="[EMAIL PROTECTED]" class="Null"/>. I would like to
have all incoming emails going to xxxyyy.com to not be processed and
killed.

            <processor> transport </processor>
         </mailet>
         -->
                        <!-- End of White List -->
                        <!-- Check for delivery from a known spam server
-->
                        <!-- This set of matchers/mailets redirect all
emails from known -->
                        <!-- black holes, open relays, and spam servers to
the spam processor -->
                        <!-- For this set to function properly, the spam
processor must be configured. -->
                        <mailet match="InSpammerBlacklist=dnsbl.njabl.org"
class="ToProcessor">

                        <!-- Sample matching to kill a message (send to
Null) -->
                        <!--
         <mailet match="[EMAIL PROTECTED]" class="Null"/>
         -->
                        <!-- Send remaining mails to the transport
processor for either local or remote delivery -->
                        <mailet match="All" class="ToProcessor">
                                <processor> transport </processor>
                        </mailet>
                </processor>

Thank you for your help in this matter.
