Hi, I have Apache James installed in c:\demo\james-2.3.1. I also took the james.sar and unzipped it into the new directory directory C:\demo\james-2.3.1\apps\james, and I edited the C:\demo\james-2.3.1\apps\james\SAR-INF\config.xml to run on a non standard port
I am running James with Sun JDK 1.5.0_09, I get the following WARN messages when I start James up. INFO 2008-02-13 05:25:02.156 [Phoenix ] (): Logger started WARN 2008-02-13 05:25:02.171 [Phoenix ] (): Phoenix was not started by the daemon thus it will not be possible to restart the JVM via the Management interface. Is there a reason why James tries to keep unpacking james.sar when it starts up ? I assume I can ignore these WARN messages ?
