Information entered with the Remote Manager is saved in text files. To enter information in the database, you need to set up a database, edit the config file, add a JDBC jar file, restart James, and enter the users into the database.

You could even mix and match. You could save user info in the database, and email messages on the filesystem, or do the opposite.
