What are the logs in your jamesfolder/apps/james/logs/mailet*.log file?
You should have RemoteDelivery logs for that.

Also try adding <debug>true</debug> inside your RemoteDelivery
configuration and restart. This way the log above will contain much
more detailed informations about the delivery attempt and what gmail
says when refuses your message.
