I have james email server setup on a machine inside my firewall. I am able to send/receive email from outside the firewall. But when I try to send email from the same machine as my email server ( opening outlook express ), I get a

Account: 'mail.mydomain.com', Server: 'mail.mydomain.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E From the email server, I tried a "telnet mail.mydomain.com 25" and it fails. Also a "telnet localhost 25" fails. But ping works. Is this something about the firewall or is it a setting in james ? Thanks pady
