Hey,
Like Norman said, its pop 3, youd have to do all that in your mail client and
has nothing to do with james.
If you want an Imap server you have other options, If you are like me, and
want james to accept the mail from the internet,
but want an imap server also, I suggest trying OpenXchange, get the appliance
edition, and either install it, or download the vmware image and
its ready to go, have james forward its mail to the open xchange, and you have
a powerful mail system going that can do anything.
