you also need to update the vendorAdapter.database in
database.properties according to your database.

Hi Everyone,
You can visualize the proposed database schema for James Server 3.0 on
https://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/attachment/12468360/james-jpa-db-2.png.
We would like to hear from you:
- Does it look good (naming,...) ?
- Could you test it on various db (oracle, ms-sql, mysql,
postgresql,...) and send use feedback (confirmation it's ok, eventual
exception/issue,...) (*)
tks in advance for your time,

(*) To test james on your favorite database:
1. Download a fresh snapshot from
http://people.apache.org/builds/james/nightly/
2. unzip/untar and cd james...
3. add jdbc driver jar in ./conf/lib
4. update ./conf/database.properties (database url/username/pwd)
5. cd ./bin
6. ./james start
7. if no exception logged in ./log/james-server.log, you can check the
created database corresponds to
https://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/attachment/12468360/james-jpa-db-2.png.
