Hi,

I think webmail is more used via imap4, but it seems also possible via pop3, and even with james and the openwebmail
http://markmail.org/message/usggc4pts4qsprgl
If you look around, you will prolly find many other webmail working with pop3.

For white/black list, we rely on mailets.
See http://james.apache.org/server/2/provided_mailets.html (james 2.3) and http://james.apache.org/server/3/dev-provided-mailets.html (james 3) We are working on documentation, but for now, you need to download, test, and add mailets further to the given links and the samples you can find here:https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/james/server/trunk/container-spring/src/main/config/examples/mailetcontainer.xml.

Where did you read out-of-office is possible ?

Tks,

Eric

Hi,

Thanks for quick response.

I need a webmail client forPOP3, but if it does not work then I agree with IMAP. Does anyone have a guide?

For blacklist and whitelist I need a manual?

Out of Office I have read in a forum that is possible but can not find instructions.

Basically I just need instructions or where to look for some tips.

Thank you.

Hi,

For webmail, you need imap4 which is only implemented in james version 3
(ongoing work, no stable release).
James 2.3 does not support imap4.

About some free webmail, james hupa is also a work in progress. There are
many other free alternatives, but I never tried them.

Blacklist and Whitelist is implemented in james 3.0 (not sure for 2.3).

The out-of-office is not available right now.
Feel free to open a jira to request it.

Tks,

Eric
