Hey guys,

I have a problem with my James Configuration, which does not allow me to
receive mails from the outside.
When I try to send a mail to my Server, I get the following delivery
failure message (with <myIPaddress> being the raw IP address i.e.
123.456.789.001):

Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

         red@<myIPaddress>

    Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient
domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further
information about the cause of this error. The error that the other server
returned was: 550 550 5.7.1 Requested action not taken: relaying denied (state
14).

I will try to give as much info up front, so anyone who knows can help
me with this.

I use James together with sendmail, with sendmail relaying all mail
through James.
I do this since I also need sendmail to to emailToFax sending with Hylafax.

I use James 2.3.2 and did configuration changes to sendmail as described
in http://james.apache.org/server/james_and_sendmail.html (could swear
the preliminary note there is new..) to achieve the afore mentioned
relaying through sendmail.

I can send emails to GMail via James and Java Mail API no problem, but
when I try to reply to these mails, I get that delivery failure.
I have no MX-record set for the IP, but it should work with just sending
back to my IP, right?

I hope someone can help me with this. If any further info is needed,
please tell me.

Thanks in advance,

Stephan
