Funny, That's just another manifestation of JAMES-1422.
I have fixed it yesterday with
http://svn.apache.org/viewvc?rev=1362602&view=rev.
You will need trunk to have benefit from the fix.
Indeed, a bounce will generally not have a Sender, that is just what
JAMES-1422 is all about.
