Hello lewismc James protocol subproject aims at providing libraries for implementing mail protocols, server side.
As I understand it, a crawler needs a client implementation to retrieve the data (IMAP ? JMAP ?) The James project fousses on the server side. For the client side some projects like common-net with be better suited.
