Hello Sean, No this does not make much sense, this might be a misunderstanding.
Flags (including user flags) belong to the mailbox context of the email and is unrelated to the RFC-822 defining mime messages.
As such, sending user flags do not make sense. Please bear in mind that user flags are managed by Mail User Agents (eg Thunderbird) and Mail Delivery Agents stores them only if they are asked to. Mail Submission Agents do not have a way to 'transport' user flags.
I hope this helps, Regards, Benoit On 08/02/2022 18:49, Sean McElroy wrote:
Hello, When a user flag is set on a mime message and then the message is sent, is the flag saved along with the message? I am adding a user flag to a message before it is sent, and when the message is retrieved the flag is not present. Can this be done, or have I misunderstood?
