I'm not sure what you mean by "mail server address" ... do you mean where

My understanding so far is that domainlist.xml should contain the domains
for which the server has users so unless you have users whose email address
is f...@mail.mywebpage.com it should not contain mail.mywebpage.com

Most likely your users have emails such as b...@mywebpage.com thus
domainlist.xml should contain mywebpage.com. Then in the DNS of
mywebpage.com you would have an MX entry saying that the server which
handles emails for mywebpage.com can be found at mail.mywebpage.com

you might also have an HTTP server serving a webmail at that address but as
far as I know james would not be aware of that and there is no
configuration entry for it in james.
