hi Anyone with positive experience of hosting James or any other mail exchanger on a VPS?
As an ex-Bytemark employee I've had many years of free VPS use; the company was sold and I blinked at at �14+ (UK pound) per month. Big mistake - I tried DigitalOcean before I realized they actually discourage internet email - looks like their'ipv4 ranges are in many blocklists en mass. I'm currently running on my son's Linode; he pays $6 (US dollars) a month) - I'm happy to pay that! Problem is that outlook and hotmail addresses refuse to accept email and unfortunately I need to correspond with people foolish enough to touch a Microsoft offering. I only need a basic VPS -25GB disc, around 1GB RAM (a little below that is fine). 5 - 6 US dollar fine, 15 UK pounds too much!
