Fix seems simple enough.
Thank you for submitting the bug report. Will the fix also be ported to
OpenJDK 8? The affected versions list does not include "8".
I added 8 to the affected version list. Whether this gets backported to
8u will be up to the folks maintaining the 8u project. You'd have to
ask/lobby them on [email protected] once the fix is in the
mainline (though I don't know when that will be).
