Hi,
I think servicemix is growing quickly and I find the eip engine of great
value. I expect that when the version 3.0 will be completed it will be a

make me wonder what kind of target users servicemix is aiming
I believe that if the intention is to reach enteprises sevicemix should
offer binding components for lecacy services/protocols or at least
should find some allied that could develop these components.
Here for legacy I intend essentially everything older than web services.
For examble I work in a bank and here we have lots of services exposed
as CICS or IMS transactions, CORBA, EJBs (which may be are supported by
servicemix but not as JBI).
In other words I believe that a JBI service bus is essentially a
protocol translator and message router and so I'd like to see in
sevicemix support for integration protocol other than webservices.
What do you think?

Raffaele,

Providing support for these legacy technologies is very important.
Guillaume mentioned to me that you have already started to implement
the CORBA support. Can you tell us what you're doing? I'm curious to
know how you're approaching this task.
