I will focus a bit more on documentation, which is a bit outdated :( To integrate servicemix, you have to first create the needed configuration for geronimo by building the geronimo-1.0 or geronimo-1.1 projects and deploy the generated configurations in geronimo. Then you should be able to just drop jbi artifacts (SA, components) inside Geronimo deployment directory.
