You just have to do mvn deploy The trick is to specifiy the right repositories inside the root pom. You can take a look at the xbean root pom (which is easier to understand than ServiceMix one) Look in http://svn.apache.org/viewvc/geronimo/xbean/trunk/pom.xml?view=markup for the distributionManagement section (at the bottom).
