We're working on a project where Weblogic is a must but we were also
thinking of using a JBI compliant ESB. ServiceMix seems a perfect candidate

I'm not aware of anything off the top of my head that would prevent
the servicemix-web WAR file from being deployed to Weblogic.
The second question is can you deploy service units/assemblies and install
components in ServiceMix that is running "from" a war file ?
This is supported when ServiceMix is deployed as a WAR file.
