The polling endpoints are not yet functional and as you said, they miss the targetService / targetEndpoint attributes.

What is still missing from the file and ftp JBI components in the 3.1 snapshot? I was able to send a message to the file component and have the file stored in a directoy, however I couldn't figure out what the equivalent of "targetService" is for the file (polling) or ftp components. What is the status of these and what is still missing? I would like to work on these, but I'm new to JBI and there isn't much in the way of comments in the code or examples to go by. If you could just point me in the right direction, I'll see how far I get. Thanks, Allan The development of these components have began in 3.1 See http://svn.apache.org/viewvc/incubator/servicemix/trunk/servicemix-file/, http://svn.apache.org/viewvc/incubator/servicemix/trunk/servicemix-ftp/. However, currently, they are just a port of their lightweight counterpart, with the ability to deploy SUs. Feel free to take a look and joint the dev list to discuss new features, etc ... -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/JBI-File-or-FTP-poller-%28not-lightweight%29--tf2481022.html#a6969577 Sent from the ServiceMix - User mailing list archive at Nabble.com.
