We currenly do not provide a SE which would host plain web applications, but iirc, someone has already done that.
I have also tried to start a full blows jetty web server from the servicemix distribution and have the servicemix-http component reuse it, and also add a feature to deploy web applications, but had not had time to finish it. On 12/3/06, Java Energizer <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
According to servicemix documentation, the capability exist for it to run stand alone or inside of a J2EE application server such as JBOSS. My QUESTION is; Can I run servicemix standalone and have it host Tomcat, maybe as a ServiceEngine? I am viewing servicemix runtime as my ESB, with everything I need plugged into it, including a web container. If this is not a good practice, is there a better way? TIA
