I'm not sure to understand what you mean, but this indetermination is not well seen in the enterprise. If the transaction behaviour of servicemix or of a JBI ESB in general is not predictable and thus not controllable this mean that will be very difficult to ESB JBI in the industry. Personally I don't agree with this vision. I think that the contract (the specification) between the JBI container and the component must discipline also transactions. I also think that the behaviuor of a sigle component can't be influenced by others, of course the behaviuor of the global flow is determined by how the component are assembled.
