I guess you're thinking of multiple SUs in the same SA? I believe it should be possible. However, in smx 3.0 it is not possible without some (manual) tweaking due to limitations in the jbi maven plugin. I think this has been or will be fixed for smx 3.1.
In my project we've settled on one SU per component with multiple endpoints instead. Possibly not the nicest solution, but definitely the easiest.
