Yeah, monitoring is an area that requires lots of work.
Currently, neither ServiceMix console nor ActiveMQ
console are bundled with the distribution. I'd like
to be able to deploy the ServiceMix console easily
on servicemix by just dropping the war inside the deploy
dir. It would need to start a jetty container and monitor
the folder for war deployment, but it would easily allow
to deploy the AMQ console too ...
I have worked on that some time ago but did not had time
to finish ... Do you want to work on that ?

Hi,

What is the simplest way to monitor ActiveMQ used with ServiceMix ?

It looks like ActiveMQ has monitoring capabilities
<http://activemq.apache.org/how-can-i-monitor-activemq.html>, and
particularly a web console
<http://activemq.apache.org/web-console.html>. But I guess it should be
launched/used differently under ServiceMix and when using ActiveMQ
specific properties definition under ServiceMix.

So, could you please tell me what is the simplest way to launch ActiveMQ
monitoring web console when AMQ is embedded into ServiceMix ?

IMHO I think adding a 'tool' repository into ServiceMix distro,
including a ".bat" for ActiveMQ web console easy launch will be very
welcome.

Thanks for any help.

Best regards,
Dominique
