In the past we have used lightweight components, because they can be used quite easily, require less coding and are easy to test.
But looking at the ServiceMix roadmap you'll see that the ServiceMix team is reimplementing all LW components as 'real' components. E.g. LW file component to servicemix-file. What are the advantages of using 'real' components? Does the ServiceMix team recommend to use 'real' components or recommends to avoid using LW components? Is the LW container a 'legacy' component?
