Hi Thank you for reading my post. I am looking for a tutorial specially for offline use (PDF, bundled html files) which could help me learn ESB and serviceMix from zero to an intermediate level. specially im looking for for some real world scenario that used ServiceMix in thier architecture.' Can you please point me to some refrences about the above questions ?
What you're really asking for is a book about ServiceMix and there is no such thing yet. The best thing we have is the website, articles on the web, the JBI spec and the software. There are a bunch of good articles and blog entries linked here: http://incubator.apache.org/servicemix/articles.html Just as with any software, the best way to learn it is to complete a small project using it. As painful as it can be to use software you don't know, you're much better off having experienced the difficulty in order to learn. My suggestion is always to start small and build out from there. Begin with a very small use case. Work out the use case and then implement it using the software. When that is complete do another small use case and integrate it with the first use case. When the second use case is integrated with the first do another small use case. And just keep adding more and more in very small steps. The most successful projects I've ever worked on were iterative and broken down into many small projects. And don't forget the mailing list. We can help to work out use cases and to implement them using ServiceMix. Collaboration helps us all learn and will cause ServiceMix to continue to evolve.
