Have you tried enabling debug level logging in ServiceMix?: http://incubator.apache.org/servicemix/how-do-i-change-the-logging.html Debug level logging will allow you to see a lot more logging from inside of ServiceMix. This often means more digging, but it's the best option when you're backed into a corner.
