The service, endpoint and interfaceName attributes are for the SU that
is being configured. The targetService, targetEndpoint and
targetInterfaceName refer to the service to receive messages from the
SU being configured.

I see now how Guillaume has used the term proxied. He's talking about
the service that serves the proxy. There is a diagram at the URL below
that I used to explain these concepts:

In the diagram, the servicemix-http consumer SU and the
servicemix-http provider SU would be what Guillaume referred to as the
proxied endpoint.
