If you want to avoid xml parsing / serializing, I guess the only way
is to use the direct
stream, maybe as an attachment on the exchange, or as the main content.
But I don't think it will work if you need soap at the same time.
I'm sure there is some room for improvement (try using the latest woodstox
parser first).
