I'm trying to tweak the performance of our Servicemix installation. I've looked at http://incubator.apache.org/servicemix/thread-pools.html http://incubator.apache.org/servicemix/thread-pools.html and made some changes to my servicemix.xml file that I think should do what I'm looking for, but I have two questions.
One, is it possible to get any more fine-grained than the major components? The examples on that page use components like flow.seda.servicemix-jsr181. If I've got multiple components useing servicemix-jsr181, can I give them different pool properties? Two, once I've made changes to servicemix.xml and restarted servicemix, how can I tell that the changes took effect? For example, is there anything in JMX that would indicate the change?
