Subject: Applet using Swingclasses in VisualAge for Java
I'm creating an applet using visual composition in Visual Age for Java.
The applet should use WindowsLookAndFeel. By doing this the background
and foreground color of labels and buttons could not be modified.
The colors are enherited from the colors defined for JAppletContentPane.
Is there anything I can do to change the colors of labels/buttons as I
want them to be? I've made a panel with the same size of the button and
put the button inside. Now I can change the panels colors and the
buttons colors would be the way I want them to be.
But this solution isn't a very elegant one. Has anybody got experience
in this context?
I'm using VA 2.0 with JFC SwingSet 1.02 and Jdk 1.1.6
