Normally each of the servlet engines has a minimum and maximum number of
threads that they will use to service requests.  Each concurrent request
that can be processed takes one thread, so if you are expecting high
traffic, you may want to play with the thread limits and see what gives you
the best performance.  You'll probably want to max out the memory in your
machine to make sure that you are not limited there and get the widest
pipeline into the machine that you can.  Hope this helps.
