Maybe it's DNS'ing slowly. To verify use TCPIP addresses instead of dns names or
computer name...
Just a thought....

Thanks for your ideas. But that was not the reason of my problem. I
don't use a proxy and I tried to invoke the servlet as you told me. The
delay is still there.
