Hi,
I have read some of the threads of connection pools and have some
questions,
What exactly do these connection pools do?
Would they be appropriate for my application where many servlet's are
being called to change the database? i.e. does the connection pool
save the connection and is it able to pass it to other servlet's?
I've been using servlet's to connect to an oracle 8 database for a
while now, but only by using the users username and password as what
it is in the database.
I was wondering if this was secure enough?
