RSA only licenses some of the encryption algorithms but not all of them, and
even then only within the US.  SSL supports and entire suite of encryption
algorithms and it's possible to use those that don't require the RSA
licensing.

I would suggest that you download Phaos or iSaSiLk and give 'em a whirl.  If
you discover that you need the RSA algorithms, then you can license them as
needed.
