Hey!

Here's the problem:
I have 100+ Cell Computers collecting data and sending it to a databases
server by-way-of MQSeries messaging. Sometimes the MQSeries channels go
down. I can detect this with a servlet running on the database server
machine. MQSeries is nice because it queues up the messages locally at
the Cells until the channel to the server connects again. No data is
lost. I want to send a E-mail notifying that of channel loss.

Jason suggests just using the SMTP in JDK and gives a nice example in
his book to send E-mail. Kewl. But I have nowhere to send it.

The question:
Can I trick JavaMail or anything else into acting like a POP servlet?
If anyone has any clues, or anything that might help, please splurch.

Thank you.

Danny Rubis
