Probably the same way you can launch audio, excel, word - by associating
some ContentType with an executable (that can be a .bat or shell script,
depending on OS)
You provide your users (wich I suppose they will be inside some
organisation, an intranet) with this small script wich calls
appletviewer and fastest JDK or JRE you can get, installed in their
computers....
