Hi,
However there is possible to SSL-ise access to a running JSDK engine:
We--ve done that by combining configurations of Apache server, sitting
betwen Internet and intranet:
module mod_ssl (needs SSLEay) for apache is used to SSL-ise access from
outside browsers.
mod_proxy used to pass-through out-world requests for URLs starting with:
https://host.genesys.ro:7443/servlet
to an internal host with servlet runner (behind firewalls) with url:
http://host.genesys.in:8009/servlet
It worked! Assuming un-encrypted communication behind firewall is
safe enough for many purposes this is a cheap way to ssl-ise access
to the JSDK's servlet runner.
There are drawbacks too, this isnt a real SSL-servlet-capable-server.
Cezar.
