New Atlanta is pleased to announce ServletExec 2.1, an upgrade to its
award-winning servlet- and JavaServer Pages (JSP) engine, and the
ServletExec Debugger, a FREE tool for developing and debugging servlets
within popular Java IDEs such as Symantec Visual Cafe, Borland JBuilder,
Metrowerks CodeWarrior, and others.
Pre-release versions of these products are available for download now,
with the final production releases planned for early June 1999:

ServletExec 2.1, which supports servlets and JSP on Microsoft IIS,
Netscape Enterprise, the Apache server, and MacOS web servers, has been
upgraded to JSDK 2.1.1. Already the best performing servlet engine
available, ServletExec 2.1 is up to twice as fast as previous versions.
The ServletExec Debugger 2.1 allows servlets to be developed and debugged
in an environment that very closely simulates the ServletExec deployment
environment, and runs within the following Java IDEs:
- Symantec Visual Cafe 2.5 & 3.0
- Borland JBuilder 2
- Metrowerks CodeWarrior Pro 4
- IBM Visual Age for Java 2*
- Sybase PowerJ 2.5*
- Microsoft Visual J++ 6.0*
*support for these IDEs is planned for the final production release,
but is not available in the current pre-release version
