Perhaps you might also want to check out JRun  for Macintosh OS 8.X at
http://jrun.com/download/

JRun includes a full servlet engine (2.1.1 Servlet API), web server, JSP
(0.92), and other goodies. A version for Mac OS X Server will be out very
soon.
