I don't have any idea how to do this, but there is a web site called
iMacFloppy.com that lets you upload Mac files without any special software
(but they require Navigator 4 or higher and IE 4 or higher). They don't seem
to use servlets, but you might be able to ask them how they got it to work.
The only related information on the site says something about "using
MacBinary on the fly". Perhaps the Mac browsers convert files to MacBinary
when uploading?
