I thought I read somewhere that the JSDK only serves servlets (not HTML pages).  Did I 
misunderstand?

for those trying out jsdk2.1 and reporting similiar problems can you try,
if possible, running over jdk1.2.x to see if troubles such as those describe
below go away?
