Just an instance to complete Sharma�s answer. One applet I created
was
taking 75 seconds to start on IE 4.0 and 60 on Netscape (the applet
had
~85 KB of code size). In the jar, it tooked 18 seconds in IE and 15
in
Netscape! A VERY big difference.
