I have made a test using Apache Jmeter under the following coniguration:
P200, 64 Mbram, Linux and Apache jserv compiled in.

The results are:
The fastest :
                  cgi written in C
                  servlets
                  Perl 5 ( not ModPerl)
Note. The problem was very simple getting 10 params and send it back .
(I couldn't do anything more complex i.e. conecting to database because
i am not so good in C and Perl)

So you could make your own test with apache Jmeter if U want.

Best wishes,
                        Andras
