Sorry if this is a faq, but I have not seen this topic mentioned anywhere: Is there some utility class to convert from ANSI text to HTML escaped text ? My servlet will have to work with strings which have embedded characters like ä ö ü... I think that problem is frequent enough that there should be a function somewhere, but up to now I have not found any... Thanks for any help P.
