In JSP 1.0 there's an action tag called <jsp:request> that lets you
forward to or include another resource. Also, in JSP 1.0 all output is
by default buffered to simplify this and many other scenarios.

I suggest this discussion and all other JSP specific discussions are
continued on the JSP mailing list instead. You have a better chance of
getting answers and others on that list may also be interested in the
