Althought Eytan is right and using the DB2 JDBC driver, which is provided
by IBM, you can access DB2 databases with any Java application written in
any IDE, I would suggest you that, if are about to develop DB2 centric Java
application, then VAJ2E whould be a better election since it supports the
DB2 database more than any other IDE. For example VAJ2E includes features
(like Data Access Builder) which enables you to desing application (with
DB2 support) fast.
