Sounds like there is some confusion about what you mean by "tab control":
do you mean controlling what order the fields are accessed when the Tab
key is pressed? or do you mean switching from one view to another when a
tab (using the old pendaflex folder metaphor) is selected?
For the former, you can set the "z-order" of the elements, but only IE4+
will pay attention to them (NS 4.07 ignores it at least, I haven't
bothered upgrading in a while).
Inside each form-elements tag, set " tabindex=Z" where Z equals the "tab
order".
