If there is no presentation browser doesnt come into picture. Two
communications processes writeen using SSL libraries should be able to talk
- why not ?

But there sure would be a lot of re-inventing of the wheel - something quite
well offered by the secured webservers.

Any particular application area you are looking for ?? hacking ?? :-)
