Hi,
I have the problem that I've installed JSDK 2.1 and after I start the
server with the startserver.bat I can't connect to the server from
Netscape.
After I start with startserver, the dosbox displays the following lines:
JSDK WebServer Version 2.1
Loaded configuration from
file:E:\Programs\Programming\JDK1.2\jsdk2.1/default.cfg
endpoint created: :8080
I haven't made any changes in the default.cfg, I just took it as I
downloaded it from sun.
After I enter the 'http://localhost:8080' in Netscape i get there
ERROR
The requested URL could not be retrieved
While trying to retrieve the URL: http://localhost:8080/
The following error was encountered:
Connection Failed
The system returned:
(111) Connection refused
This means that:
The remote site or server may be down. Please try again soon.
And the DOS box doesn't change any more until I run the stopserver
batch.
I also tried to connect via telnet to localhost:8080 but this connection
also failed.
Has someone an idea what is wrong? Do I have to make any additional
configurations?
